Who Tried To Make Her Go To Rehab?

It might not have been her dad, but whoever tried to get Amy Winehouse to go to rehab, they didn’t try hard enough. Last week Amy’s father, Mitch Winehouse, told AceShowbiz that his daughter was so bad off that he actually wrote a eulogy.
Wow, Dad, thanks for the confidence booster.
And if you think he was justified because it was his way of dealing with the inevitable loss - WRONG. You don’t give up on your kid, no matter what. No matter how stupid, wreckless, or self-destructive a child becomes, there’s no scenario when it’s okay to say you’re dead to me.
To be fair, Amy Winehouse was in the hospital where she was taken after having a seizure brought on by a toxic booze and drug combo. Okay, fairness over. Your daughter is in a hospital bed and you’re what? Wondering what you’ll say when the spotlight’s turned on you? Trying to alleviate your own pain? How about pray, and hold her hand, and protect her from stupid paparazzi?
Mitch Winehouse seems like the typical blamer/denial/enabler. It wasn’t even Amy’s fault, you see. It was all her no good boyfriend who got her to take the drugs. Mitch Winehouse calls the guy a bad influence because “until he came along, she was staunchly against hard drugs.”
Hard drugs.
Parents, listen up. If your child is pre-disposed to become addicted to drugs, there are no soft drugs. There are only gateway drugs. If your child is not pre-disposed for addiction and you do nothing, then lucky you. Someone’s got to win at Russian Roulette.
Take another look at that gorgeous girl, the one with the healthy glow, the meat on her bones and the makeup that doesn’t scream Help Me! Take a good look and then ask yourself what it takes to get to this:

I love her music, but feel she is hopefully on her way to a bottom with respect to the drug use and manageability of her life.
Interesting site you have here.
